Saturday: The conditions started at 10-12 knots, with mild chop from the North. About 11 the winds became light (2-6 knots) and the lake was calm. The regatta consisted of 3 divisions: A and B took place in 420s, and C was in tech dinghies. Sixteen teams participated from 12 different schools. Six races were sailed in each divisions, with trapezoids and windward-leewards. Three breakdowns were filed and two were granted. We'll see everyone on the water tomorrow! Wisconsin 3-Way
Sunday: The conditions started with 0-3 knots of wind in isolated puffs on the lake from the North. In light of these conditions, races were postponed until further notice. About 11:30 the winds filled in from the south and racing began. The regatta consisted of 3 divisions: A and B took place in 420s, and C was in tech dinghies. Sixteen teams participated from 12 different schools. Six races were sailed in each division Saturday and 2 Sunday, with trapezoids and windward-leewards. Three breakdowns were filed and two were granted. Great regatta everyone!
