Out of District Travel Funding Guidelines

  • Funding would preference teams that finish 1-4 in Conference Champs but are not attending intersectionals.
  • Teams must present a statement of need
  • Funding will only be for an intersectional
  • Teams must be in good financial standing
  • Amount will be deducted from their next MCSA bill
  • No shows to the event will not be reimbursed
  • The regular intersectional scheduling process would still apply.
  • Teams who are not being funded would not lose their berth to a team that is being funded.

Teams should express and explain their interest in funding and supply a statement of need to Dave Elsmo BY May 1st.

Sailors and Coaches,

There are some important changes in the MCSA so please read carefully. Effective this weekend (4/23/11) all teams will be required to fill out and sign a provided regatta evaluation worksheet (See Attached). Failure to fully complete this form (signed and dated) will result in the same penalty that accompanies failure to sign your RP forms (20pts per Division).

We are hoping that through your input we as a conference can pinpoint where our events are finding success and where they need a little work. Please take time to give specific explanations for the ratings you give in the provided space and return them to your hosts. Teams running events are to send these forms to me with the rest of the regatta host materials (RP, Protest, SI's etc) for review.

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know

Forms will be available on the MCSA Website in the Regatta Host Materials Section

Have an awesome weekend at Woman's Qualifiers and 3-Division
